Job Description

Your new role
Reporting into the Finance Director and joining this supportive finance team, you will be responsible for accounts assistant duties, starting on a temporary basis but with the potential to become permanent at a later date. Initially the role will be heavily invoice based due to a backlog and increased workload, therefore duties will include processing of invoices, matching and batching, inputting of data on internal systems and liaison with suppliers. Once the backlog has been completed, you will then move into a more all round accounts assistant position which will include sales and purchase ledger, bank reconciliation, production of finance reports and assisting with month end responsibilities. On a daily basis, you will work on both Sage and Microsoft Packages.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in securing this position, you must possess previous accounts assistant experience, ideally with a strong background working in purchase ledger and with a strong working knowledge of Sage 50. You will be available to start as soon as possible, ideally before the end of November and will be seeking a permanent position in the long run.
