Role
This Accounts Assistant position is for a boutique Private Equity firm based in the City of London.
There is a lot of scope for development within this role and your primary responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to:
Reporting into the Finance Manager
Invoice processing
Processing expense requests
Credit control
Cash book maintenance
Maintaining the company purchase and sales ledgers
Banks reconciliation
Raising sales invoices
Liaising with third party providers, clients and suppliers
Basic administration
Updating and maintaining procedural documentation
Salary & Benefits
£28,000 - £35,000 plus benefits including study support
(Salaries can vary and are dependent on experience
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
ACA / CIMA / ACCA (studying or part-qualified) Preferably a 2:1 or better in accounting, finance, maths or other numbers-driven university degree 2:1 or 1:1 graduate from a Redbrick / Russell Group University 12+ months experience working for a financial services firm (desirable) Strong excel/VBA and modelling is highly advantageous
