Role and Responsibilities.
Administering the location and specification of the products, conducting and recording customer orders,
Managing delivery deadlines, liaising with hauliers and planning the delivery fleet throughout West Yorkshire and the UK.
Liaising with suppliers, updating all supplier order acknowledgements onto the internal database, so it is important to have great communication skills.
Chase up orders and delays with suppliers and hauliers whilst keeping the directors up to speed.
Allocating load schedules with drivers in accordance with the delivery plans ensuring maximum efficiency.
Route vehicles throughout the UK, whilst communicating with customers and suppliers.

Experience:
Logistics: 3 years (Required)
Administration: 3 years (Required)
Textile: 1 year (Preferred)

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Customer Service skills. Logistics administration knowledge. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office, Excel, Access. SAP working knowledge. Ability to work well as part of a team. Pro-active in pre-empting and resolving issues. Experience within textiles (desired not essential).
