As our apprentice, you will have responsibility for supporting members of the Senior Management Team and progressing specific actions arising from activities across the teams.
The main duties of the post will be:
Planning and organizing meetings using Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Teams
Helping to plan and coordinate internal and external events (e.g. contributing ideas in team ‘brainstorming sessions, finding and booking venues, preparing materials)
Helping to deliver events including Directorate away days
Attending some events to provide administrative support (e.g. setting up, welcoming attendees, and taking notes)
Setting up meeting rooms for staff briefings
Processing travel and accommodation requests
Providing administrative support dealing with purchase orders and invoicing
Researching information and reporting on what you find
Maintaining and updating electronic records (spreadsheets, contact details etc)
Taking accurate and detailed meeting notes and action points
Acting as first point of contact (on the phone and via email) for queries and requests
