Job Description
A typical week would include:
Providing Leadership to the PM&C teams for which you are responsible
To manage the effective utilisation of design resources to client requirements and programme, including iCRC as appropriate.
Lead and provide input into proposals including resource estimates and technical content to support successful delivery of bids.
Providing leadership and expertise within projects and ensure client satisfaction.
Undertake Key Account Management roles as required.
Developing the PM&C Team in line with the business plan.
Acting as PM, successfully delivering high quality multi and single disciplinary Rail projects.
Ensuring that proactive project planning, stakeholder and risk management takes place across projects
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Bid/Project Management & Technical Delivery experience in the Rail sector. Experience, preferably in the UK, delivering design solutions to major infrastructure projects, between GRIP stages 2 and 8. Experience in a design consultancy environment with good customer relationship and stakeholder management skills. Proven ability to lead and work successfully in a multi-disciplinary design team. A degree, in a relevant engineering or management discipline. Preferably a Chartered Engineer (CEng) or Incorporated Engineer (IEng) and a member of relevant professional institution
