• You will carry out regular safety checks that are recorded and form part of the company safety policy
• Ensure that all engineers are fully equipped to carry out their duties and act as an escalation point for engineers regarding tools and equipment issues
• You will develop and maintain training and development plans for all engineers, making sure that courses are booked as required. You will raise shortfalls in skilled resource to the relevant level of management
• Regularly checking quality and safety of workmanship, creating a quality first culture, and addressing shortfalls

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong experience leading field-based engineering teams preferably in a fibre network build environment, with strong focus on quality and performance Experience of the managing on-site Health and Safety and PPE along with an understanding of Construction & Engineering Health & Safety regulations Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels and clearly direct others Full UK Driving Licence
