Assistant Accountant

Job Description

Duties will include:

  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly management accounts to trial balance
  • Scanning and entering invoices
  • Book-keeping and reconciliation of the purchase ledger accounts
  • Assisting in the book keeping of the bank accounts
  • Investigating and dealing with any purchase ledger discrepancies
  • Ensure monthly processing deadlines are met as required
  • Assistance with the preparation and filing of VAT returns

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience working on various company accounts Good timekeeping Proactive and able to manage your own workload
