Job Description

This role is a field based permanent full time position operating within the South East (Home Counties) regions.

You'll be responsible for things like this in the role;

  • Establishing a pipeline of opportunities
  • Contribute to the acquisition programme as part of company’s rebuild and Grow Strategies to deliver ‘New Morrisons’ to new customers
  • Build a large and relevant network of contacts to generate a 5 year development pipeline of profitable new stores
  • Securing the best market property deal for Morrisons
  • Securing planning permission in line with Morrisons design principles
  • Board papers for Capitals Approvals by required deadlines
  • Taking ownership for accuracy of reports and documents
  • Internal stakeholder site visits
  • Control of legal documents with solicitors focusing on accuracy & speed
  • Travel to Morrisons head office in Bradford as required

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience operating within the Retail Property Sector Track record of performance in the Property Sector with a national retailer Qualified to degree level (or equivalent) RICS qualification preferred but not essential (opportunity to get qualified) Comfortable with regular business travel; full driving licence Customer mindset when appraising new opportunities High financial acumen to build solid business cases Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders Team player, who is co-operative and builds relationships Ability to communicate with impact, both written and presentational to create a robust business case Project management and budget control to own lifecycle of new store development A structured and process driven approach to planning and organising work Experience of working in a fast paced environment, adaptive to change Tenacious approach, does not let setbacks detract from a positive approach Computer literate, we use G Suite
