The client is a large membership body that has been operating in the UK since the early 1900s and brings together both the customer and company sides of the organisation.

Job Description

The responsibilities of the Payroll Administrator & AP Assistant Accountant include but are not limited to:

  • Processing monthly payroll
  • Ensuring pension records are updated
  • Assist with the input of supplier invoices
  • Monthly reconciliation and reporting of the corporate credit card accounts
  • Assist with the year-end statutory accounts production process
  • Provide support for ad hoc projects as required

The Successful Applicant

The successful Payroll Administrator & AP Assistant Accountant must be AAT level 4 or part qualified to ACCA/CIMA. The applicant must also have strong experience processing payroll and have covered some aspects of a finance role too.

The applicant must also have strong communication skills, be confident, be able to demonstrate initiative as well as being punctual, polite and professional.

What's on Offer

On offer for the successful applicant is a salary of up to £28,000 depending on experience and a competitive benefits package including 75% off of rail fares.
