Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, disseminate and pro-actively suggest a strategy for answering an RFP or the like
  • Be able to construct relevant answers which clearly answer the client’s question and portray the company in the best possible light;
  • Engage with the London business to communicate new opportunities via the Growth and Opportunities team
  • Responsible for the timely planning, management and completion of the allocated sections of bid submissions;
  • Responsible for organising the review of the submissions against client requirements;
  • Co-ordinate competitive tenders through all bid stages and all relevant documents whilst facilitating inputs from multiple business lines on a London basis
  • Maintaining records relating to submissions and successes;
  • Build internal and external relationships with individuals associated with the bid process in order to create quality bids;
  • Develop a creative approach to the writing and presentation of bids;
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance and improve the process, ensuring that best practice pitching process is implemented and that our pitch resources are used effectively;
  • Supporting, implementing and rolling out new pitch system and bid process tools;
  • Ensure the quality of the response meets the company standards;

  • Skilled in editing copy to correct grammar, spelling and punctuation and ability to edit copy to standard and style;
  • Skilled to manage delivery through direct reports and colleagues, including technical employees at all levels, bid colleagues, and external suppliers;

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Adobe Indesign Package experience Advanced Microsoft Office Suite, with exceptional Word, Excel and PowerPoint formatting Strong command of both spoken and written English (mandatory); Minimum five years' experience in bidding; An understanding of professional service and/or the building/property industry required; Demonstrable project management experience; Ability to demonstrate creativity and innovation through the production of bespoke Client documentation; Ability to plan and execute bid planning workshops with multiple attendees;
