Job Description

This is a fixed term contract to cover a portfolio of contracts and work with the Operations Director. The overall purpose of the role is to provide and ensure robust commercial and contractual input to the various Highways projects underway.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

A degree in Quantity Surveying or alternatively a degree in building / construction or civils engineering, or equivalent. Relevant Commercial experience in the Highways or Civils market, both pre-construction and delivery Experience of management positions An ability to identify problems and build relationships An accredited course by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB), the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (ICES) or the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB). Experience of joint ventures / public sector partnering approaches
