The successful candidate will build strong relationships with new and existing customers, generating sales and delivering first class customer service. This role has responsibility for developing, managing, and growing new and existing customer accounts and providing rapid communication to ensure actual or internally agreed service level agreements are maintained.
You will be responsible for:
Prospecting for relevant and specific new business opportunities
Answering and processing all incoming sales calls and emails
Inputting and updating prospect/customer/quote/project information into the CRM system
Providing quotations direct to the client independently, with support from the technical team on more complex projects
Collating information regarding more complex work and liaising with the technical team in order to provide a quotation to the client
Following up via call or email to all prospects and quotes following the sales pipeline
Managing project deadlines and liaising internally to ensure timely project delivery and managing customer expectations
Releasing technical reports when complete and requesting reviews from customers
Working to Sales KPI’s
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience of working in a technical sales environment ideally within manufacturing. A minimum of 3+ years’ experience in telephone-based sales. A minimum of 2+ years’ exposure to a B2B sales environment. Extremely strong verbal and written communication. Experience of and ability to demonstrate effective communication with other areas of the business critical to their success.
