You will manage the complete sales cycle and client relationship as well as internal relationships to ensure identification of opportunities to cross-sell the Company’s complete product portfolio. There will be an emphasis of account management as well as new business development.
To be successful as technical sales representative you will:
Create business development strategies to maximize sales opportunities in our target markets.
Identify the best existing accounts to target for growth as well as identifying and converting new account opportunities.
Be responsible for the complete sales process from opportunity identification to sales closure, coordinating inputs from other business stakeholders.
Develop a sales pipeline to ensure installation order bookings requirements are met.
Manage leads and drive sales performance using Salesforce.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Proven track record as a technical sales representative, or other business to business technical solutions sales function. Experience and knowledge of Fire Detection and Controls systems. Experience working with Major Oil & Gas customers. Be comfortable presenting technical and commercial information to board level. Ability to function autonomously, whilst also being a proactive team player. Excellent communication skills; ability to leverage resources and engage operational departments to ensure high levels of customer service. Ability to create winning plans and bring teams together for mutual success. Customer focus oriented. Full UK driving license. Ability to demonstrate ‘value based’ selling. Track record of sales within Renewables space. Ability to develop and expand relationships through an organization. Understanding of marketing strategy. Strategic thinker, not afraid to question norms. Knowledge/experience using CRMs, in particular Salesforce.com.
