Job Description

Accounts Assistant required for an exciting permanent opportunity with a market leading business based in Knowsley. Working as part of a friendly and supportive team, you will be responsible for managing the sales and purchase ledger, costing, reviewing purchase orders, credit control, and complex query resolution, as well as any other ad hoc duties that may be required. This is a perfect opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant looking for their next challenge.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 months experience of working within a busy accounts role. Costing experience is essential for this position. You will be confident in managing both sales and purchase ledger, and will have experience of using computerised accounts systems (preferably Sage). You will also be proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel (VLookUps and Pivot Tables). You will have a keen eye for detail, and will be able to work well under pressure in order to meet tight deadlines. You will be well organised with the ability to adapt to changing priorities, and will be a team player with exceptional communication skills. Above all, you will have a positive attitude and will show a genuine passion for accounts.
