Job Description
We are looking for a confident individual who has strong IT skills, is experienced in financial management, well organized and able to communicate professionally and effectively at all levels.
The successful candidate will have responsibility for the day to day financial records of the company including bookkeeping, invoicing, banking, reconciliations and liaising as needed with the company's accountants.
Responsibility for all functions of sales and purchase ledgers and ensuring timely collection from debtors and payment to creditors
Preparation and reporting of monthly management accounts, with narrative for Directors
Management of cash flow and preparation of cash flow projections
Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns
Ensuring compliance to HMRC in relation to all items covered by PAYE and CIS and submitting CIS monthly reports
Development and maintenance of financial and administrative procedures
Processing and reporting of weekly and monthly payrolls and all year end protocols
Manager HR administration when required, including annual leave forms and staff benefits
Administration of company insurance, pension and life assurance schemes and management of company vehicles
General office administration including answering calls directing enquiries to the most appropriate source of help and liaising with customers with support to sales if necessary

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
At least 3 years experience in a finance related position and preferably some knowledge of HR though not essential. Strong IT skills with experience using financial software packages, Excel and Word. Flexible, self-motivated, disciplined with attention to detail, take ownership of job at hand and trustworthy. Excellent organization skills, ability to work under pressure and manage priorities. A strong team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
