Assistant Accountant

Job Description
Main duties include:
- Maintaining Sales Ledger including credit control
- Processing of Purchase Ledger invoices
- Processing and balancing of VAT
- Inland Revenue returns and any other monthly or quarterly returns
- Input of data into the computer using Sage 50 Accounts
- Annual returns for the company
- Dealing with telephone enquiries, liaising with suppliers and employees, and entertaining any visitors
- General filing
- Produce management account information
- Ensuring that the day to day administration of the company is carried out
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Sage 50 Accounts experience Purchase ledger Sales ledger
