Assistant Accountant

Job Description

Main duties include:

  • Maintaining Sales Ledger including credit control
  • Processing of Purchase Ledger invoices
  • Processing and balancing of VAT
  • Inland Revenue returns and any other monthly or quarterly returns
  • Input of data into the computer using Sage 50 Accounts
  • Annual returns for the company
  • Dealing with telephone enquiries, liaising with suppliers and employees, and entertaining any visitors
  • General filing
  • Produce management account information
  • Ensuring that the day to day administration of the company is carried out

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Sage 50 Accounts experience Purchase ledger Sales ledger
