Job Description
  • Purchase ledger duties;
    • process all supplier invoices on Sage 50 Accounts
    • complete monthly departmental reconciliation
    • complete monthly departmental costings
  • Processing weekly and monthly payrolls using Sage 50 Cloud Payroll
    • Issuing documents for employees including payslips and P45 forms.
    • Understanding legislation surrounding tax, National Insurance, Real-Time Information and Auto Enrolment pensions.
  • Process weekly Hudson Contracts for Sub-contractors
  • Assist with sourcing and ordering of materials for site operatives
  • Part of a small finance office team, answering telephone calls and email queries from both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Other office duties as and when necessary.



What you'll need to succeed

  • Essential experience in Sage 50 Accounts and Sage 50 Cloud Payroll
  • Experience or knowledge of the construction industry desirable
  • Strong IT skills, including demonstrable skills in Excel and other Microsoft Office programmes
  • Excellent organisation skills and possess strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Be an effective communicator and able to develop good working relationships
  • Hands-on approach with a willingness to become involved at all levels
  • Willingness to be flexible as well as reliable
  • Ability to work on own initiative, prioritise workloads and work within tight deadlines
