Job Description
The ideal candidate will have 1- 2 years experience in a small/medium sized practice and have experience producing accounts for a variety of clients. The role will involve transactional bookkeeping duties and VAT return processing. Any Bureau Payroll experience would also be beneficial.
Duties Include:
Bookkeeping duties including purchase and sales ledger processing and journal posting
Preparing VAT returns
Assisting with self assessment tax returns
Liaising with clients and resolving queries
Working closely with qualified accountants to assist with high value client accounts
Assisting with Payroll processing
Working in a client facing capacity
Working to strict deadlines
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
1 to 2 years experience within a Practice bookkeeping/accounts role Strong communication skills Knowledge of double entry bookkeeping is desirable Knowledge of financial IT systems
