We are seeking to recruit a professional and personable Accounts Assistant Administrator to support growth within our team in Stockport.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
AAT Level 2 or Level 3 qualification or be studying towards this level or similar qualification. Some experience in an accounting role in practice or in industry is ideal but not essential. Familiar with the basic principles of accounting and bookkeeping, ideally a working knowledge of accruals and prepayments. Good interpersonal skills to be confident in communicating with clients and team members in a professional manner. Good administration and organisational skills to manage a rotation of regular tasks. Comfortable and experienced in working to meet deadlines. Qualification in Mathematics to at least GCSE level or equivalent. Driven and proactive. A team worker. Carry out regular bookkeeping, management accounts, VAT Returns. Receive training and carry out some audit work from time to time. Support the team in a number of administrative duties (form filling and letters). Assisting with the production of year end statutory accounts. Communicate with clients on a regular basis, either by phone, email or in person. Receive training and support wherever necessary.
