You will be a part of an exciting commercial audit team in Aberdeen, with responsibility for a team of employees to ensure audit work is completed to a high standard
You will be empowered to act as a trusted business adviser to the Firms’ clients.
Be the main point of contact on fully listed and non-listed clients
Leading and coordinating all areas of the audit.
Resource planning and allocation, performance management and training
Behaving as a role model – help the team achieve their goals through your mentoring and on the job coaching
Liaison with other departments - building strong internal relationships
Support the leadership team in sales and business development activity, playing a key role in client pitch teams, attendance at group networking, and other marketing events as appropriate.
Support Partners with the implementation and communication of any new business strategy for existing clients, target clients and the internal business.
Develop specialist knowledge of a sector and/or technical area, and/or commercial area.
Engage with clients more directly on technical and audit judgement decisions.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
ACCA/ICAS qualified or equivalent. Significant post qualified Audit experience in Practice. Experience of delivering audit and other assurance services to large businesses, including listed and clients with overseas activities. Sound working knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP and Financial Reporting requirements. Experience of business development. Proven experience in managing a portfolio of concurrent projects.
