Job Description

Reporting into the Audit Manager, the Auditor will be responsible for the following:

  • Executing and planning of audits right through to completion.
  • Preparing fees, budgets and recoveries.
  • Liaising with, developing relationships, and working closely with clients to ensure their deadlines are met.
  • Undertaking technical research with respect of issues arising during audits.

Please note that that you should be able to demonstrate sound technical knowledge of GAAP and IFRS and be willing to assist in the development of more junior team members.

You must be able to communicate seamlessly and effectively with ease and possess excellent organizational skills. Working in audit demands a collaborative approach and individuals should be able to display evidence of their ability to function in a team environment.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
A permanent Auditor position with a reputable accountancy firm has become available following an upturn in business. Newly qualified ACCA or ICAS individuals, or those demonstrating 3 years + PQE will join a busy working environment where they will be expected to perform in both the planning and completion of audits. Previous experience within practice is quintessential and prospective individuals must be willing to work alongside clients, maintaining relationships and delivering work around the full audit cycle.
