Interim Group Finance Manager

Job Description
Our client is looking to attract a determined and driven individual to join their group finance team.
Consideration will be given to individuals with a proven track record operating within a senior management position from a professional practice background.
- Assist with preparation of the Monthly Finance, Board and Executive Pack reporting
- Lead the accounting for the defined benefit pension schemes at interim and full year
- Assist with the preparation of Interim and Full year consolidated financial statements
- Preparation of supplementary disclosures for notes to the financial statements
- Undertake impairment testing of investments and goodwill as required
- Liaise with external auditors as required
- Assist with the preparation of quarterly trading update
- Oversee the preparation of head office legal entity statutory accounts
- Assist with preparation of quarterly Audit Committee Key Judgment papers
- Research technical accounting changes and determine impact on the business
- Assist with the implementation of major new accounting standards
- Other ad hoc tasks as required
