Job Description

Our client is looking to attract a determined and driven individual to join their group finance team.

Consideration will be given to individuals with a proven track record operating within a senior management position from a professional practice background.

• Assist with preparation of the Monthly Finance, Board and Executive Pack reporting
• Lead the accounting for the defined benefit pension schemes at interim and full year
• Assist with the preparation of Interim and Full year consolidated financial statements
• Preparation of supplementary disclosures for notes to the financial statements
• Undertake impairment testing of investments and goodwill as required
• Liaise with external auditors as required
• Assist with the preparation of quarterly trading update
• Oversee the preparation of head office legal entity statutory accounts
• Assist with preparation of quarterly Audit Committee Key Judgment papers
• Research technical accounting changes and determine impact on the business
• Assist with the implementation of major new accounting standards
• Other ad hoc tasks as required
