Job Description

In this role, you will work closely with the Borough Manager to help deliver a key central London Highways project.

The key point…

• Line Management responsibility for Health and Safety of operational staff, toolbox talks and communication of Health and Safety alerts
• Assessments and method statements for work in progress.
• Programme, allocate and manage staff, plant and material resources effectively.
• Supervise works supervisors, operational staff and supply chain managers.
• Ensure timely response of Task Orders received.
• Network Intelligence gathering and reporting
• Ensure all Commercial Staff have fully quantified Scope of Works with regular reviews
• Increase revenue and reduce costs
• Ensure response to emergency situations within contract specification when requested by Senior Management

As Construction Manager you will be involved with staff management and therefore should have great people and communication skills. Ability to manage and prioritise yours and your team's work against changes in the network will be very important.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You are a diligent, thoughtful qualified Civil Engineer with some relevant Highways construction/project management experience. You should hold a CSCS card and industry recognised safety training equivalent to SSSTS. A full UK driving licence is essential.
