Job Description

This will include managing and developing Financial Education programmes across schools and workplaces, delivering an annual impact report in line with the company’s Responsible Business Charter, implementing employee wellbeing initiatives and supporting the development of the Entrepreneur Club, aimed at supporting local businesses across the city through impactful events and network building.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Corporate & Social Responsibility

· Take a key role in delivering our Financial Education offering

· Deliver presentations and workshops that support workplace learning for corporate clients

· Engage with local schools to enhance financial learning of young people

· Support local community engagement and help profile the good causes the company supports – monitor and measure impact of financial education and charitable activities

· Lead and develop the Practice’s Responsible Business Charter

· Key liaison person between GWWM and SJP Corporate Responsibility & Social Value Teams

· SJP Charitable Foundation representative for GWWM

Entrepreneur Club

· Take leading role on our Entrepreneur Club committee to revitalize the club’s main objectives and deliver events with real impact

· Optimize and leverage the SJP Entrepreneur Club offering

· Improve club membership with quality and quantity of active members creating a meaningful impact

Client Servicing:

· Assist with deep dive client profiling to ensure personal details are current and intimately understood – helping prepare for adviser meeting, i.e. Goal development / coaching

· Develop transition management process between financial education programmes and client journey ensuring client’s needs/preferences are understood

· Capture and share client insights to support the continuous improvement of our client servicing offering

Social Media:

  • Play a key role in the development of the practice’s social media strategy
  • Raise awareness and grow engagement across the practice’s LinkedIn and Instagram pages
  • Carry out continuous market intelligence across the financial services social media space to ensure we can be competitive and innovative in a digital landscape
  • Implement social media/digital marketing campaigns to share our company story/values/mission, to build a “personality” behind the GWWM brand

Events:

· Support the creation and ongoing coordination of unique and effective events for the company to ensure maximum success

· Attend and host events as necessary

· Follow up with guests attending events for feedback and potential meetings

· Strong awareness of relevant local events and networks

General:

· Communications – produce effective internal and external communications

· Presentation – deliver company materials in a relatable and compelling way

· Ad hoc activities as requested by Leadership Team

· Nurture great working relationships with team, St James’s Place colleagues, clients and third parties

· Project a professional image in both appearance and attitude and provide quality support on time to agreed standards

· Willingness to travel (infrequently) for training purposes and events as required

IT SKILLS

We expect that the CSR & Engagement Specialist will be an expert user of the following:

· Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint and Word

· LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook & Instagram

· CRM experience
