Job Description

This role will involve but not be limited to;
Reasonable for the design of building infrastructure works including utilities, highways, drainage, levels, lighting designs, earthworks, external works and associated civil engineering infrastructure.
Working with the internal drawing office, factory and technical coordination teams.
Co-ordination / review of heating systems. ASHP, gas, electric, district heating etc.
Prepare CAD drawings to a standard suitable for construction and technical approvals.
Flood risk assessments, SuDS drainage systems and pavement designs.
Checking and preparing engineering reports, drawings and figures to a high standard.
Sectional agreements including Section 278, 28, 38, 104 and S106 designs.
Cut and Fill earthworks specifications and the commercial implications of setting levels for developments.
Preparation of the associated specifications.
Liaise with Local Authorities and other stakeholders to obtain necessary approvals.
Delegating and supervising work of more junior team members and acting as a mentor.
Assist during the implementation stage, including site monitoring and site visits.
Attending all design team meetings.
Able to demonstrate their experience in the delivery of projects to time and budget.
The successful candidate will have/be;
Significant previous experience working a for House Build / Developer. Private or HA.
You will be proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Micro drainage software.
The ability to prepare CAD drawings to a standard suitable for construction and technical approvals.
Be a positive and enthusiastic team player.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Experience in working with Local Authority Highways Agency. Experience in the design of building infrastructure works. Excellent knowledge of design standards and good project management skills. Up to date knowledge and effective application of the Building Regulations. Breadth of knowledge in construction methods and techniques. Effective budget management expertise. Participate in post-project reviews to ensure learning from project experiences. Contractual procedures. Accurate and factual written reporting
