Job Description

Your role and responsibilities:

  • Preparation of VAT returns
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Maintaining Sales/Purchase ledger
  • Taking accounts up to trial balance
  • Communicating effectively with HMRC
  • Responding professionally and promptly to client queries
  • Willingness to travel to clients’ premises
  • Willingness to undertake bookkeeping tasks at clients’ premises

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Qualifications: Ideally AAT qualified Minimum 2 years’ experience in a bookkeeping role You will be expected to demonstrate: A working knowledge of English and Mandarin A good working knowledge of Zero A good knowledge of VAT and the ability to apply VAT rules and regulations Competency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook Knowledge of Xero would be advantageous
