Job Description

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the project manager in managing the project delivery team (design, procurement and site) performance of delegated responsibilities and achieve project goals.
  • Interfacing directly with clients to define project requirements, prepare scope of work, project delivery resource requirements and supply chain, cost estimate and budget, project schedule, quality and HSE control and risk identification.
  • Implementing an appropriate and effective project management framework for a range of public sector projects.
  • Managing project cost plan including risk allowance.
  • Monitoring and controlling changes/variations.
  • Identifying project risks, develop risk mitigation and contingency plans and implement action plans to mitigate project risks.
  • Establishing and preparing formal reporting arrangements on project progress for the client and company.
  • Supervising the monitoring and reporting of the contractors’ progress against the expectations of their contracts from all perspectives.
  • Coordinating and promoting teamwork between all project stakeholders.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
You have a degree qualification and a member of a relevant institute. You are digitally savvy and an expert in MS Office, can build lasting client relationships and lead strong, motivated teams. You have a good understanding of construction techniques and with high technical expertise. You have the familiarity of project management methodologies, techniques and concepts. You have experience as an assistant project management role in a consultancy background within healthcare, higher education arts and culture sectors and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.
