Job Description

Help support and mentor your colleagues with your pension’s expertise as a Senior Pensions Administrator:

You will provide support and bring experience to a team of administrators to ensure work is completed in line with procedural and client requirements and within service level agreements and to provide a continually improving level of customer service in terms of quality, cost and time.

This role can be home/remote based.

  • Process all work in accordance with the active management protocols in order to meet service levels.
  • Authorization of scheme records and events
  • Mentor and identify training needs to ensure staff reach their full potential
  • Checking calculations and processes, completing all tasks in line with current work procedures
  • Provide excellent customer service to all clients, members and third parties
  • Identify complaints at the earliest opportunity escalating as appropriate. Assist in addressing the true root cause and implementing effective corrective action in order to prevent re-occurrence.
  • Challenge the activities inside and outside the team in order to improve the customer experience

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience of working on DB Pensions schemes is essential. Demonstrable experience in pensions administration and work management systems. Ability to coach, train and mentor the more junior members of the team using your knowledge and expertise. Strong Excel, Word and Outlook skills. Accuracy and attention to detail. A flexible approach to work and able to manage varying demands and workloads to ensure tasks are completed to deadline. Good communication skills, written and verbal.
