Our client has an immediate opening for a Senior Accountant to join the team at our European Head Office based in Egham, Surrey.

 

The Shared Service Business Management Team is a new and fast growing team that directly supports our Corporate and Regional offices, in all accounting processes relating to Billing, Collections and Receipting.

 

This is an excellent role if you are a self-motivated individual who is able to demonstrate drive in a busy and dynamic department, great communication skills, an analytical mind set and superb initiative. You will assist in managing ledgers, overseeing organisation processes and providing key data for internal reporting and statutory accounts. It is also a chance to become an integral part of a key department that offers variety, personal challenge and growth.

 

Responsibilities

The areas of responsibility for this position include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Completion of daily accounting tasks and contributing to month end close
  • Upholding fiduciary responsibility by providing accurate Financial Statements
  • Schedule reconciliation to audit standard each month
  • Maintain and improve a strong system of internal control
  • Work closely with regional accounting teams to share key information and answer queries
  • Maintain a culture of ethical practice that demonstrates Enterprise core values
  • Engage and develop employees to progress through Business Management career path
  • Foster and maintain a positive and fun work environment

Comprehensive training will be given in all areas and each employee will also be supported through a well-defined career development program which includes study support for professional qualifications.
