Job Description

Design management will include pulling together robust consultant appointments, design management plan, design programmes, management of the supply chain and delivering on service excellence. All these will require agreement from all parties including client and Mace internal teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing the design management process ensuring the design is complaint to the ER’s/CP’s, designed to the project budget/cost plan and to programme.
• Ensuring the design has mitigated all risks and have identified opportunities.
• Taking control and managing the design process on a specific project.
• Assisting/supporting a senior design manager on larger projects.

You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and lead strong, motivated teams. Good understanding of BIM to level 2 and PAS 1192-2 and 1192-3. You will have a construction or project management background and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace have to offer.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You have a degree in engineering or architectural or equivalent qualification. Good working knowledge of Building Regs, BREEAM/LEED, WELL. Good understanding of CDM 2015 design compliance.
