Job Description

This role sits within the Corporate Finance Team and will assist the production of financial information for UK based companies with a combined turnover of over £200m and with over 1,500 employees. With an enviable portfolio of national and global clients we are well placed to operate at the heart of business.

The role…

This will be an interesting and varied role supporting the Senior Financial Accountant and wider UK team to:-

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and Group reporting
  • Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts for all UK companies
  • Maintenance of fixed assets register
  • Preparation of balance sheet accounts reconciliation
  • Posting of payroll journals and analysis
  • Month end accruals and prepayments
  • Assist in intercompany reconciliation process
  • Provide information and analysis to CFO, Director Finance, other senior members of the finance team and internal clients on finance related issues

About you…

To be a successful in this role you will need the following skills and experience:

  • Part qualified (CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) with experience in financial and management accounting
  • Experience of working in a commercial environment
  • Good knowledge of excel (V Lookups and Pivot Tables)
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet aggressive deadlines
  • High level of drive and initiative
  • Must be able to get on with people
  • Need to be proactive and hands on
