Job Description

Tasks and responsibilities

• Play a leading role in preparing and executing the group monthly financial closing process, including but not limited to reviewing local reports, control and validation of reports, data analysis, reconciliation and elimination of inter-company transactions and relationships, preparation and posting of consolidation journal, etc.
• Performing analysis for and preparing financial reports to management, in liaison with external auditors and other stakeholders
• Confirming proper treatment and compliance of all accounting transactions and group policies with local accountants
• Maintaining proper reconciliation and integrity of all G/L accounts
• Leading and contributing to projects and initiatives such as global liquidity management, transfer pricing
• The development of lean financial processes and/or systems

Your profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Accounting
• 5+ years of relevant experience in international accounting and finance
• Ability to drive own work efficiently with minimal guidance to identify and solve complex challenges with significant autonomy
• Outstanding IT skills
• Good experience with conceptual and financial process design
• Energetic, flexible and responsive working style with strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills and fluent in English to liaise effectively with internal as well as external stakeholders
• Experience with Big 4 public accountancy firm is a plus

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
