Job Description
Marketing
The role requires the job holder to create, maintain and deliver a marketing and communications plan, in co-ordination with designated trustees. Enabling activities include:
Custodian of mailing lists; covering past conference attendees and potential acquisitions
Editing and promoting social media content and podcasts
Create email templates
Work in close co-operation with trustees and others to provide marketing collateral
To act as the brand champion, encouraging the consistent application of brand standards
Monitor the effectiveness of different forms of marketing and advise the trustees on ways to optimise spend and gain the greater impact in marketing and event promotion activities
Website Management
To be an effective curator of the Kinetic Network website; maintaining content on a current basis, all of which is should be aligned to brand standards
Event Co-ordination
To support end to end delivery of the annual Life in the Spirit conference, which includes oversight of event bookings, the management of on-line booking software and payment gateways (currently Stripe), handling booking queries and refunds, logistics (including room allocations and venue set-up), communications and ongoing liaison with the conference (currently Hayes, Derbyshire), extending to initiating payments to speakers, suppliers etc.
To act as a host during the Life in the Spirit annual conference, acting as the "go-to" person for day to day information and problem solving during the conference
Ensure that the interface with Kinetic Network’s bookkeeper is maintained and invoices are processed in a timely and accurate manners
