Job Description

This role is responsible for developing broking strategy and placement of risks for the substantive UK Construction division. This will include complex corporate and SME business across a network of UK retail brokers. The role will include extensive client engagement and service, ensuring that the client’s requirements are considered in business propositions, production and delivery of tenders, placement advice, oversight of presentation terms, wordings and management of market relationships. Placement is the other key aspect to this role, operating at a high level in the team oversight of submissions and accountability for engagement and cover confirmation is essential.

As a Senior Broker the ability to contribute to the continued growth and development of the broking strategy will add an interesting angle to this position by supporting the MD and business leaders.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The right candidate will have proven experience in a Senior Broking capacity dealing with the UK Construction market. An excellent understanding of London market insurance and it’s processes is essential, alongside the ability the develop and maintain market and client relationships. This role requires a high level of business acumen and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills in order to add value when working with senior leaders in the business on the development and growth of the division.
