Job Description

This position requires someone to be able to understand supply chain, preferably within the construction and/or maintenance sectors. The ideal candidate must be able to handle and collate a large amount of data from multiple sources, so strong excel experience is a must.

The main elements of the role include:

  • Monthly data collection, to aid regional and group board reports.
  • Negotiating and managing of manufacturer and merchant agreements, including claiming of any manufacturing support
  • Administering the approved subcontractor and supply chain database
  • Supporting estimating and project teams with supply chain recommendation and sourcing
  • Issuing, collating and updating KPI data
  • Ongoing database and system management
  • Producing spend and trend analysis, preparing forecast data and evaluating results

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Intermediate/advanced Excel and Powerpoint skills Highly organised and able to work on their own initiative Excellent teamworking skills and ablity to build relationships at all levels Ability to work well under pressure and to tight timescales Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage a variety of relationships. Strong analytcial skills Experience working with data / forecasting Self-driven and results orientated
