Wealth Management partnership based in Edinburgh City Centre are looking to recruit a full-time Mortgage Assistant & Administrator to contribute positively to their well-established and friendly team.
Supporting the two Mortgage Advisers and also the Financial Advisers
You should have a strong track record of successful previous experience supporting mortgage advisers within a Financial Services company
Diary Management – preparing for client meetings; booking appointments; meeting rooms; preparing paperwork etc.
Dealing with incoming and outgoing mail and answering telephone calls and emails ·
General office duties such as faxing, photocopying, scanning, filing and sending literature etc.
Ensure that all case administration is completed accurately and compliantly
Carry out product sourcing to source suitable mortgage & protection products for advisers
Creating and maintaining client files/data.
Completing decisions in principle, full mortgage applications with specific lenders and liaising with lenders/clients etc.
Preparing suitability letters on behalf of advisers then issuing to clients
Managing mortgage reviews with existing clients
Attend relevant events/webinars held by the business i.e. client/supplier open evenings
Invoice management for mortgage advice fees
Microsoft Office Suite – Word/Excel/Outlook essential
Excellent communication skills – written, verbal & face to face
Mortgage services experience – having used multiple lenders is desirable
Ability to build and maintain strong and successful relationships with clients and colleagues
Planning & organizational skills – ability to priorities and problem-solve, using initiative & decision-making skills
Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently to tight deadlines, under pressure
