Job Description

Utilizing your technical, interpersonal and administrative skills, you’ll be responsible for managing an allocated portfolio of DC / DB schemes, and ensuring the continued actions required for pensioners and internal departments, are dealt with quickly and efficiently.

With previous experience in the corporate pensions from a Consultancy / Insurer or In-House environment, you’ll be a point of reference for less experienced colleagues on any technical issues.

  • Proven and comprehensive experience in handling DC and/or Pension Schemes
  • Ability to perform accurate manual calculations
  • Extensive use of Excel to intermediate / advanced level
  • Ability to record all actions / progress accurately on the in-house database systems
  • Advanced communication skills – confident verbal communicator, and ability to compose non-standard correspondence as necessary
  • Good time management skills and the ability to organize and priorities own workload
  • Manage any complaints in line with the procedures in place, and report/escalate accordingly
  • Take responsibility for own workload, and see advice to clarify understanding from peers
  • Be confident in challenging procedures to identity process improvements and pass on recommendations
