Using your financial accountancy knowledge, you'll join a friendly team of finance professionals and supervise the work of the Senior Finance Officer and his team, covering all core systems such as payroll, purchasing, sales, invoices and the preparation and processing of monthly accounts.

You'll also be the lead in communicating how the ERP system works, and a key part of your role will involve supporting the wider organisation to lead on the design and development of the system, both to make it easier to get information into the system and to improve reporting and support wider decision making.

About You

Your technical background:

• Broad practical knowledge of accounting systems
• Hands-on finance systems development experience
• Advanced computer software skills including Excel macros and other accounting packages
• Highly numerate, with a good attention to detail matched with strong analytical skills

You do not need to be a qualified accountant, but you will have a strong and in-depth knowledge of financial accountancy.
