Job Description
Job Duties:
Looking after a dedicated portfolio of clients, undertaking general bookkeeping using cloud accounting
Liaising with clients and their customers/suppliers
Using apps to support growth and provide value to clients
Scanning and filing of documents and all other related administrative duties
Updating practice management software
Support other team members including supporting the apprentice
Answering the telephone and dealing with enquiries
Liaising with HMRC and other agencies when required
All other duties as required
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to competently service a portfolio of clients of different sizes from varied industries Competent in the use of cloud accounting software across multiple companies Experience of using Practice Management software Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook Experienced in a bookkeeping/accounting role Confident in double entry bookkeeping Must understand standard VAT accounting Able to respond to change and work in a fast-paced environment Able to prioritise and jump to a different task as required Great communication skills Good at problem solving
