Job Description

Role

The Finance Manager will report into the Managing Director and will be responsible for the following:

  • Production & presentation of monthly management accounts including; balance sheet, profit & loss, budget comparisons and income forecasts
  • Management of company bank accounts
  • Cash flow forecasting & reporting
  • Company budget production
  • Project finance & reporting
  • Monitoring company fixed assets, loans & leases
  • Liaison with external accountants for annual statutory accounts
  • VAT & statutory tax compliance
  • Supervising part-time bookkeeper role
  • Companies house updates
  • Payroll, pension & insurance
  • Financial analysis & strategic advice to board
  • Continuous improvement and implementation of new finance systems

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The successful candidate will own the following: - Newly Qualified ACCA/CIMA - AAT qualified or 2:1 and above from a reputable university - System implementation experience - Xero experience, Quikkbooks (desirable) - Confidence to liaise with board of directors - Excellent communication skills - Proven Management Accountant - Can commute to the City of London - Knowledge of the IT industry (desirable)
