Job Description
- Provide landscape architecture and urban design inputs to a streetscape project at RIBA Stage 3 or 4, typically working in a BIM level 2 environment
- Lead the preparation of a Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment (LVIA) for the planning application of a new mixed-use development
- Attend a virtual Design Workshop with co-professionals for a new mixed use development
- Chair socially-distanced meeting with a client and our environmental colleagues to develop the green infrastructure strategy for a nationally significant infrastructure project
- Attend site visit to inspect construction of a new public space
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Degree level qualification in Landscape Architecture or recognised equivalent; Postgraduate diploma / Masters qualification in Landscape Architecture or recognised equivalent; Significant experience of landscape and visual impact assessment for infrastructure or development projects Strong experience in the design and delivery of landscape projects, ranging from initial site audit/concept design stages through to production of detailed plans, schedules and specifications for planning and construction; Construction experience including working with contractors, site supervision, contract and tendering procedures; Project management experience including preparation of bids, management of project finance and client relationship; Managing your own workload and that of your allocated project team; Track record of successful project delivery; both technically and commercially; and Fluent spoken English with excellent verbal, written and graphic communication skills;
