Job Description

The successful Finance Manager will be critical for the continued development of the business from a strategic and commercial position and will be an integral part of the finance and management team.

The successful Finance Manager will be expected to:

Job Description

The Finance Manager will work closely with the management and finance team of 4 to ensure the delivery of this department is highly effective to continue growth in the business.

Duties to include but not limited to:

  • Daily management of the Finance Team including team meetings, attendance, performance issues
  • Production of Monthly Management Accounts and supporting analysis
  • Manage Sales Ledger with the team to ensure all invoices raised on a timely basis
  • Manage and support Credit Controller to ensure all monies are collected and new accounts have correct Credit Limits
  • Manage and support Finance Assistant to ensure all Purchase invoices are valid and approved before payment
  • Prepare and execute the end of month supplier payment runs
  • Daily issue of Cash position and Forecast
  • Daily KPIs on Factory Labour and Overdues on the Sales Ledger
  • Liaise with banking facility and foreign currency payments and set up Forward Contracts where required
  • Process daily bank payments
  • Preparation of end year accounts for Accountants review and filing
  • Corporation Tax payments on account to be calculated and executed
  • Finance agreements to be sourced and administered as required by the business
  • Ensure all documents are forwarded to Bookkeeper for Sage processing and any queries are resolved
  • Company Insurance annual renewal with Brokers and timely update on changed requirements during year
  • Ensue all statutory payments VAT/PAYE/Deferment A/C are made on an accurate and timely basis
  • Assist HR Manager on payroll processing - set up payments as due and ensure control of Payroll Balance Sheet items
  • Compile Annual Budget and measure against actual performance
  • Production of Monthly Management Accounts
  • Attend Daily Weekly Leadership

Hours:

Monday to Friday - 8.00am - 5.00pm

Salary:

£50K+ dependent on experience.
