Job Description

They are currently looking to recruit a talented Urban Designer / Masterplanner with between 2 - 5 years' experience to join their team in Central London or Greater Manchester but remote or flexible working is available.

They have an impressive portfolio of global, national and regional projects at all stages of the planning, design and construction process including development promotion, masterplanning, public realm design, rural and green infrastructure planning, design and restoration of parks and green space.

The ideal Urban Designer / Masterplanner will have a strong academic background along with a passion for urban design, regeneration and sustainability and will be enthusiastic about delivering design.

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic team player who will enjoy working in a collaborative team environment to tight deadlines and demonstrate an ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels and backgrounds, including the design team, clients and external consultants.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ideal candidates will have excellent graphic skills and design ability using Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp and AutoCad. A qualification in urban design or similar is desirable, and a background in Architecture is welcomed but is not essential.
