Role Purpose

Working alongside our Senior Management Accountant you will immerse yourself within our Finance team here at company. Your goal will be to assist in the provision of first class financial accounting for the business and process the accounts up to trial balance.

Responsibilities include:

  • Month end analysis (including revenue) and journal preparations.
  • Balance Sheet reconciliations.
  • Preparing month end estimate/reporting templates.
  • Supporting the monthly forecasting process.
  • Assisting with credit control.
  • Assisting and supporting the Finance Director and Senior Management Accountant in their decision making with production of Ad hoc analysis, gathering data for audit etc
  • Assist in preparation of statutory accounts and Tax
  • Posting expenses
  • Liaising with client teams to ensure POs are received for relevant clients
  • Responsible for petty cash, including reconciliations at month end
  • Processing pension payments
  • ONS submissions
  • Reporting to the Senior Management Accountant

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • The Ability to challenge and suggest improvements to the existing processes
  • The Ability to work with/alongside non-finance professionals
  • A Strong academic background
  • Either a Part Qualified Accountant or Graduate
  • Excel skills up to VLOOKUP/SUMIFS level
  • SAP experience is desirable
