Job Description

This role would be suitable for an individual currently studying or seeking to study the ACCA or CIMA qualification.

Key responsibilities

• Month-end accounting and reporting activities assigned to you such as; overheads, accruals and prepayments, fixed assets and debtor analysis
• Responsibility of balance sheet reconciliations produced to a high standard within the specified timetable
• Weekly tasks such as; weekly invoicing reconciliation, KPI reconciliation and payment checks
• Support the half-year and year-end reporting audit requirements
• Support the forecasting process for areas such as overheads, interest and depreciation
• Main contact for all UK ONS queries
• Assist with the preparation for the annual statutory accounts of the annual entities
• Support team in simplifying and automating processes and developing new value-added analysis
• Other ad-hoc requests

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Excel/Google Sheet skills to at least an intermediate level Willing to study an accounting qualification (e.g ACCA or CIMA) Self-motivated and keen to learn and develop Great accuracy and attention to detail Focus on hitting tight deadlines Working under pressure Good communicator Great team player
