Job Description

You will drive the design resources ensuring they deliver against the programme and prioritise deliverables.

To be successful in this position you must posses:

• Implement systems and procedures that comply with all relevant design legislation ensuring compliance with operational and technical requirements and safety principles.
• Manage all design activities to ensure they result in affordable schemes and meet programme requirements in a safe and environmentally responsible manner, ultimately delivering AIP’s.
• Provide support to the construction team, during the delivery of the GRIP stages.
• Be from a Main Contractor background.
• Worked their way up through a technical background to a Project Engineering / Design Management role.
• Must be from a Mechanical or Electrical background with exposure to relevant rail projects.
• Ideally be a Chartered Electrical Engineer.
