Our client would like to supplement their existing team to enhance their substantial capability and reputation in these areas and fulfil expansion objectives.

They require a hands on Structures Design Manager with relevant degree and a demonstrable portfolio of civil and/or structural engineering experience is essential.

You should be chartered or approaching chartered status. You must have a good understanding of basic design tools along with an understanding of construction processes undertaken. It is essential that you have the ability to design innovative temporary works solutions including façade restraint, falsework and basement propping. The right candidate will have a sound understanding of basic physics and be able to produce evidence of problem solving using engineering knowledge. The ability to use AutoCAD and analysis software is desirable, and the ability to drive spreadsheet and word processing packages is essential.

This is a No1 role in the business, reporting into the MD and will come with large bonuses yearly.
