Job Description

The successful manger will have a background in the project delivery of renewable power. Ideally encompassing commercial management with electrical engineering across a number of complex renewable projects.

Electrical Project Manager – Solar and Wind responsibilities:

• Work on Electrical and HSE projects/issues/initiatives across a large wind/solar portfolio
• Work closely supporting H&S Director in investigating and closing out HSE KPI’s
• Advise and update the Commercial Asset Managers on the closeout of technical issues
• Read, critique and summarise all reports from operational subcontractors such as EPC contractors, asset managers and O&M contractors
• Prepare regular progress and management reports.
• Advise on risk management and mitigation across the portfolio, including preparing decisionmaking materials for senior management as required

The successful Electrical Project manager will benefit from joining a well-established team, with a large portfolio of assets.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Electrical engineering background (7+ years’ experience in relevant roles) Experience working with/operating HV networks with Transmission, Distribution or Generation Electrical Engineering degree, or similar HS&E Qualified (NEBOSH / IOSH) Knowledge of wind and/or solar Previous Experience managing Engineering, Procurement and Construction contractors for Renewable projects
