Job Description

Your Duties will include:

Providing primary design input into multiple data centre design and construction projects, including coordination with the construction and programme management and site based project, in-house management, commercial teams and external consultants / designers to facilitate the time completion of design information to meet internal and external design programme targets and for managing the design process from start to finish.

Overseeing the design process using technical expertise and own and manage the BIM Model on behalf of the business.

Managing the development of the overall project construction/design requirements during the construction phase.

Management of 3rd parties, sub-contractor CPD elements or design teams to ensure that they meet all specification, design interfaces are captured, and checking the competence and resource's of any design teams or 3rd parties.

Qualifications

BSc in Civil Engineering / Construction Management or something similar

Chartered status is essential IE Chartered Engineer

MICE / MIStrucE or similar type of accreditation

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Proven track record in a similar role as a Design Manager Degree in Engineering or a scientific discipline Chartered Engineer Experience of managing a larger design team, with the ability to steer them in new directions, motivate and inspire Well-versed in all aspects of Waste-water infrastructure Fully aware of the requirements of CDM At least 5 years experience
