Job Description

The role will be the recognized lead for project controls reporting of medium/high complexity projects or programmes. The role will direct and manage a team of professionals delivering reporting services and responsible for staff development.

The role will be responsible for ensuring effective and efficient use of Power BI and associated products.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Defining specific project controls reporting methods, techniques and tools.
  • Devising strategies, alternatives and recommendations for effective delivery solutions to meet client needs.
  • Creating of dashboards and report setup, development and configuration.
  • Being an internal consultant for reporting for the PMO services practice, which includes project controls.
  • Keeping up to date with the evolution of Power BI and associated products in the marketplace.
  • Liaising with other functions and supply chain partners for license management and support.
  • Assessing and defining reporting strategy.
  • Building and leading a team of reporting specialists including hiring and firing team members (subject to HR policy).
  • Having an authority to bid.
  • Providing internal line management and prioritization of workloads.
  • Interacting with clients and other stakeholders to ensure that goals and objectives are being met.
  • Identifying potential opportunities for future business.
  • Establishing and maintaining excellent working relationships with other specialists.
  • Managing the networks with peer project teams, consultant organizations, client organizations, industry and trade associations, suppliers and professional bodies.
  • Participating in civic and business organizations and trade networks.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
You have degree qualification. You are an expert in implementation of EVM and PMO reporting. You have mastery in setting up effective project controls reporting systems and procedures. You have expert knowledge of project controls reporting tools and software e.g. Power BI, Tableau, QlikView. You can build lasting relationships and lead strong, motivated teams. You will have PMO experience in a consultancy background and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.
